"I've turned commitment into progress."

Transparency and accountability aren't promises for me — they're a record. Under my leadership, residents have already seen real progress:

  • Stability at city hall after years of turnover — giving staff and council the time to focus on improving our city.
  • Historic investments in infrastructure, including $64.5M in bond-funded projects now underway.
  • A revitalized Downtown Development Authority with the highest membership in a decade.
  • Stronger collaboration with schools, businesses, and community groups.
  • New investments in public safety, code enforcement, and communication tools like All Things Clawson and Clawson Pulse.

The 2021 Charter revisions raised important concerns. Some residents worried about expanding council, slowing progress, or growing government. That's why I supported putting the proposal on the ballot — because I believe in more democracy, not less.

Respecting the Charter means respecting your voice and voting for every change. As mayor, I'll continue to trust you to make those decisions and ensure your voice is always at the center of our city's future.

Beyond city hall, I've built that trust by being present and engaged. Whether volunteering at community events, supporting local organizations, or simply talking with residents at gatherings, it's one of my favorite things about representing our city. I make it a priority to listen and respond.

Clawson deserves a mayor who consistently spends time giving opportunities to voice your vote, building our future and trusting the voice of progress. My energy is on infrastructure, roads, parks, housing, bringing in businesses, keeping the momentum, and engaging with neighbors at community events- the things that make daily life better.

Transparency and accountability aren't promises for me — they're a record. Under my leadership, residents have already seen. Now it's about building on that foundation.

Proven Leadership, Real Results, Stronger Future.

  • Stability: In challenging times, Clawson doesn't need costly experiments or restarts. It needs steady, experienced leadership.
  • Momentum: In two terms, we've built momentum. A four-year term ensures we can finish what we've started — stronger infrastructure, vibrant neighborhoods, thriving small businesses.
  • Trust: I've already earned your trust twice. Now I'm asking for four more years to keep Clawson moving forward.

Before I became mayor, Clawson went through 8–10 city managers in just three years. That instability cost us dearly — not just in time, but in real dollars. Every departure meant legal fees, buyouts, recruitment costs, training new staff, and the loss of valuable institutional knowledge. Even more costly, it meant stalled projects, delayed services, and missed opportunities for our residents.

The cost of turnover is immense. That's why stability matters. Under my leadership, we've restored consistency at city hall, retained experienced professionals, and brought back the expertise we had lost. With almost no turnover, our staff and council can now focus on what really matters: improving our neighborhoods, upgrading infrastructure, supporting small businesses, and serving residents.

We've also restored strength to our Downtown Development Authority. Traditionally, the mayor serves on the DDA, and I've made it a priority to actively recruit and engage members. As a result, membership is back to a decade high, with a balanced, functional board ready to deliver. A stronger DDA means stronger business attraction, community projects, and civic pride — and that's already showing in our downtown momentum.

Most importantly, we've made historic investments in Clawson's infrastructure. Over the past three years, we committed more than $5.3 million in surplus funds directly to capital projects.

In 2025, we secured the $64.5 million Infrastructure Improvement Bond that will transform our streets and water system for decades to come.

Work has already begun — from Elmwood's reconstruction to replacing the 1928 water main on Maple — and by 2026–2027, residents will see $18 million more in upgrades, including lead line replacements. This is the largest infrastructure investment in Clawson's history.

At the same time, we've strengthened collaboration across our schools, Chamber, DDA, and city — after years of disconnected operations.

We've launched 'All Things Clawson' and 'Clawson Pulse' to improve communication, invested in public safety with a new School Resource Officer and upgraded fire equipment, and added code enforcement to protect property values. These steps reflect leadership that doesn't just talk about accountability — but delivers results residents can see in their neighborhoods every day.

The future looks bright — and dry. With consistent leadership, engaged residents, and historic infrastructure upgrades underway, Clawson is finally positioned for stability and growth. I'm proud of the progress we've made together, and I'm asking for your support for a four-year term to finish the work we've started and keep Clawson moving forward."

Clawson deserves leadership rooted in action, not just promises. I've been leading here. In two terms, I've turned commitment into progress.

Strong leadership isn't about making speeches — it's about building bridges and creating stability. Even when I don't agree with every decision, I work with others to keep Clawson moving forward. That's why we've built momentum, and why consistency now matters more than ever.

As mayor, I will continue opening our council meetings with the Pledge of Allegiance and words of inspiration. Values and traditions matter. They remind us that while we may not always agree on every issue, we share common ground as neighbors, as a community, and as a city that believes in respect, service, and progress.

Keeping these traditions is about more than ceremony — it's about honoring Clawson's spirit, connecting us to one another, and setting the tone for civil, respectful leadership.

I've already earned your trust twice. Now I'm asking for a four-year term to finish the work we've started — to keep building stronger infrastructure, vibrant neighborhoods, thriving small businesses, and a little city with a big heart we are proud to call home.

Proven Leadership. Real Results. A Stronger Future. Let's continue moving Clawson forward — together.
